Crista’s Hockey career is a remarkable story.  She describes herself as “not a natural Hockey player”, but her life story is one of extraordinary success and exceptional hard work. She is undoubtably one of the greatest players in the world game and is the ultimate role model for aspiring players.

Crista’s programme is a reflection of her own remarkable personality and life story. Each day she will inspire children to work harder and think smarter whilst creating the most powerful environment allowing all children to perform confidently outside of their comfort zone.

Crista won an Olympic Gold Medal in the Rio Games, scoring her 58th international goal in the final.  She had retired after winning Bronze at the London 2012 Games however was tempted back into the squad only a year before Rio 2016. She became a pivotal player in the gold medal winning team with a crucial role as a tenacious defender and world class drag-flicker at short corners.  She won a total of 185 international caps which led her to be twice selected in the Hockey Federation’s World All Star team. Crista was awarded the MBE for services to Hockey in 2016.

A message from Crista

"I look forward to the opportunity to develop more children to be problem solvers, to build a robust resilience and a never die attitude. We will fail at times, trust me we all do, it is the learning that counts, it is the people who stand together that are the ones that succeed."
