Sedbergh Courses are delighted to be once again returning to Abu Dhabi for our the February Rugby Camp, in association with Abu Dhabi Harlequins . The two-day course will be held at Zayad Sports City. The course will once again be led by Russell Earnshaw, from the Magic Academy, aided by our own Simon Verbickas.

Developing better contact skills, becoming more tactically aware (#BeatTheGame) and in general becoming a more skilful player will occupy the curriculum of the course. Working under the guidelines of the RFU the coaches will be looking to develop technical skills and tactical awareness. Each day will be divided in to four quarters where we will play lots of different games and break some skills down in a "skill zone" area to develop a framework for all children to reference in the future.

a message from marcus smith

Rusty is one of the only coaches who enabled me to play freely and express myself on the pitch. The freedom he gave me and my teammates made us problem solve on the pitch with limited coach interference. In addition, he’s always available 24/7 to chat about anything from personal stuff to rugby, he’s very approachable and easy to talk to. He has helped me massively to date with my career” (Marcus Smith, Quins and England)
